Telegram is on my mind after the arrest in France of Pavel Durov the founder and CEO. I am trying to digest all the facts and implications and will write about it tomorrow.  Some background here.

Onward…and somewhat related to Telegram, Social Media and the government

If you have made any cannabis investments you will get my little joke that went viral on Twitter yesterday:

Meanwhile, tobacco companies are killing people AND their investors are cashing checks if they invested!

I have written here for years that the government is THE wild card in any investing trend. Tobacco and cannabis have been on opposite sides of the government scale.

France just put a fresh dent in the software/social/communications app business and a hand on the scale with the Telegram founder arrest.
