Next-Gen Last Mile Logistics…

Happy Tuesday!

The Dallas – Fort Worth metro area has become a launchpad for innovative logistics. Earlier this month, Serve Robotics initiated operations in partnership with Uber Eats.

Last week, Zipline’s drone delivery service made its debut in Mesquite, Texas.

The region offers a glimpse at the future of autonomous, last-mile delivery.

Zipline Takes Flight in North Texas

Zipline launched its innovative drone delivery network in Mesquite, offering residents within a two-mile radius of the Mesquite Walmart Supercenter fulfillment on more than 65,000 items in 30 minutes or less. See the shaded area below.

Zipline’s drones are fast, quiet, and accurate. The company proudly states it can land products on a doorstep with “dinner plate-level” precision – rain or shine.

Drone delivery proves to be far superior to any automobile-based service.

We can only estimate, but using figures shared by the company, its commercial drone delivery operations have grown by approx. +40% YoY.

I suggest you scroll Zipline’s Instagram to see its innovative offering. It’s mind-blowing…
