Sedona Anticipates Aviation Innovation
Sedona Anticipates Aviation Innovation
Happy hump day everyone.
Thank you for joining us on our journey. I know the tape is turbulent as of late, but the innovators and early adopters continue to chase their curiosity…

Monday, I sat in on my first Sedona-Oak Creek Airport public board meeting.
I had no expectations. Here’s what I learned —
The Sedona-Oak Creek Airport is planning a ~$200M investment in safety projects near term.
Also – the Airport general manager, Ed Rose is aware of the massive innovation in advanced air mobility.
Does this not take into account air mobility or unmanned aerial systems that might come to us sooner than we would like.
Ed Rose, Sedona-Oak Creek Airport General Manager
This was a delight for me to see. As we know – awareness is always the first step towards change…
The first step towards change is awareness. The second step is acceptance.

There were no key takeaways from Monday’s meeting. I’ll share updates as to Sedona’s future plans in the coming months.
I’m watching Sedona closely not because it’s home, but because the town may serve as a role model for high-tourist destinations throughout the World.
I expect to see Sedona-Oak Creek Airport serve as an early adopter of aviation innovation.
Here’s a quick gif of the view atop the airport mesa. We are blessed to live in a beautiful place.
