I just listened to a great conversation between Omri Caspi and Shaun Maguire (bio-here)on the spirit of Israel and Sequoia’s new office/investment in the country.
I met Omri a few years back when he reached out via DM on Twitter. We became instant friends and when I visit Tel Aviv we have a meal and cigar and I kid him about pretty much everything. I had him on my old podcast ‘Panic With Friends’ back in 2022 which was fun. Our emerging manager fund allocated to his fund Sheva which he started with David Citron (David has served in Gaza right after October 7th).
Omri was the first Israeli to play in the NBA.
Shaun I have not met but he is high on my list of people I want to meet.
