TOKEN2049 Begins This Week 😱
TOKEN2049 Dubai 2025 might look like another crypto conference, but it’s not. Token2049 is crypto’s version of CES, E3, Paris Fashion Week, or Davos. 🥳
The speaker lineup is a who’s who of crypto. Binance’s CZ, Vitalik Buterin (please no singing), BitMEX founder Arthur Hayes, and because awkward is fun, Binance’s current CEO Richard Teng. Speaking of awkward, Tether’s Paolo Ardoino and Circle’s Jeremy Allaire will also be there.
The topics sound mostly ‘meh, heard it before’, but expect chatter about Ethereum’s identity crisis, AI linking arms with blockchain, and institutional money muscling into the space – specifically Goldman Sachs tiptoeing further into digital assets.
If anything crazy happens, we’ll let you know.
And no, I won’t be there. I have jury duty. Federal jury duty, I shit you not. The same week of Stocktwits’ Cashtag awards and the start of Token2049 I’ve got three more weeks of waiting for nothing to happen as my civic duty. 🤦

Kraken has teamed up with Alpaca to add over 11,000 US stocks and ETFs alongside Kraken’s massive digital asset lineup, giving degens and traditional traders even more speculative ammo.
Alpaca’s self-clearing setup promises commission-free equities and lightning-fast execution. Kraken’s recent NinjaTrader acquisition reinforces their “bigger-is-better” philosophy – futures trading is now on the menu, for anyone bored with mere HODLing.
And Kraken plans to go even more TradFi soon: options, NFTs, and whatever else your grandma might ask about at Thanksgiving. 😲
