Robinhood ($HOOD ( ▼ 1.39% )) just reminded everyone it’s not a one-trick pony. 🐎

• Stock and ETF tokens hit the European app today. Zero commissions, no extra spreads, 24/5 trading.

Speaking of Euro stuffs, Spain just yanked the plug on a €460 million crypto hustle, scooping up five suspects in synchronized raids on Madrid and the Canary Islands. 🏝️ 

• Victims: 5,000+ duped across the globe, their “investments” funneled straight into the gang’s wallets.

• Arrests: 3 on Tenerife, 2 in the capital – quick cuffs, slower extraditions.

• Dirty Money: €460 million washed through a Hong Kong shell-company maze and a patchwork of exchange accounts opened under throwaway names.

• Task Force: Guardia Civil, Europol, HSI, plus French and Estonian officers – a United Nations of angry cops.

How They Played It

Cash withdrawals, bank hops, and crypto-to-crypto flips kept the funds flying. The crew built a corporate spider-web in Hong Kong, bouncing tokens through payment gateways so often the ledger looked like disco lights, minus the fun but probably not the drugs.

Investigators are still picking through that knot, so expect more shoes to drop. Or flip flops. And probably plenty of crocs. 🩴
