Welcome to Record Town

The market climbed Monday as semiconductor leadership overpowered another round of Middle East risk, pushing the Dow through 53,000. Amazon climbed past the $3T mark, and stocks were just points away from market wide records.
Communication services led the advance behind Meta, while Microsoft helped carry technology. It really was the on again off again war that helped shape the day. Crude’s 5.4% slide pressured energy stocks, but worsening threats to Middle East tankers kept the relief rally from becoming an all-clear.
After hours, Palantir and Snap delivered the growth investors demanded. Their Stocktwits rooms finished 61% and 78% bullish, respectively, while Replimune carried the day’s loudest stream and GameStop’s debt exchange fueled the sharpest divide. The U.S. and Japan also confirmed they were buying the Yen starting late last week, sending the troubled currency about 5% in a couple of sessions.

Does Palantir’s 149% commercial growth justify the valuation?

AFTER THE BELL
Palantir Breaks The Meter 📈

Snap Finds Its Pulse 👻
Snap, the messaging and camera company behind Snapchat, reported stronger advertising, subscription, and cash-flow growth Monday. Shares ripped after hours as the improving core business gave investors something more tangible than another expensive augmented-reality promise.
The RIP: $SNAP surged +18.8% after hours. Revenue rose +19% to $1.60B, adjusted EBITDA reached $250M, and free cash flow climbed to $121M. Daily active users increased +5% to 493M, while monthly active users reached 971M.

PREVIEWS
Tuesday’s Three-Way Test 🧪

AMD, the chipmaker challenging Nvidia in AI accelerators, Lucid, the cash-burning EV maker, and newly public SpaceX all report after Tuesday’s close. Together, they will test three crowded trades: AI spending, premium-EV demand, and whether the largest IPO ever can grow into its valuation before new shares hit the market.
The RIP: $SPCX rose +5.7%, $LCID added +4.3%, and $AMD gained +1.8% Monday. Wall Street expects AMD at $1.61 EPS on $11.3B in revenue, SpaceX at a $0.29 loss on $6.8B, and Lucid at a $2.34 loss on roughly $410.8M.
AMD carries the broadest market read-through. Data center revenue rose +57% to $5.8B last quarter, making MI350 demand, EPYC market share, and the company’s 56% gross-margin forecast Tuesday’s pressure points.
Lucid already disclosed 4,774 vehicles produced and 3,953 delivered. New CEO Silvio Napoli must now reset the suspended 25,000–27,000 vehicle production forecast and explain how quickly Gravity inventory, negative margins, and cash consumption can improve.
SpaceX is the volatility event. Its first public report must separate profitable Starlink growth from launch and AI spending, just two days before the first post-IPO share unlock begins Thursday. The stock has fallen 30% from its IPO price, looking more like Meta’s initial selloff IPO than Tesla’s.

POPS & DROPS
TRENDING NOW On Stocktwits
$GME -12% | GameStop
307.4K WATCHERS · BEARISH · NORMAL ACTIVITY
GameStop tumbled after agreeing to exchange roughly $1.4B of convertible notes for common stock, reducing its long-term debt by the same amount. The bearish stream sees dilution during the 35-session pricing window, while bulls see a cleaner balance sheet for whatever Ryan Cohen tries next.
$REPL +7% | Replimune
5.0K WATCHERS · EXTREMELY BULLISH · EXTREMELY HIGH ACTIVITY
Replimune surged after FDA advisers voted 10-3 that its RP1 melanoma therapy showed substantial evidence of effectiveness, reviving approval hopes after an earlier rejection. The extremely bullish stream is betting panel support wins the day, while skeptics still see the agency’s outstanding data concerns as the setup for another regulatory face-plant.
$LKNCY +6% | Luckin Coffee
40.2K WATCHERS · NEUTRAL · HIGH ACTIVITY
Luckin Coffee climbed after Q2 revenue grew 28.5% and delivery expenses posted their first year-over-year decline since the price war began. The neutral stream is balancing stronger scale economics against whether aggressive store growth and U.S. relisting hopes can turn the post-scandal comeback into a durable valuation story.
