🏟️ Instacart’s Super Bowl Debut
Instacart is making its Super Bowl debut… of sorts.
The grocery delivery platform will air its first-ever Super Bowl commercial. The 30-second clip is slated to screen during the second quarter of Sunday’s game.
If you prefer not to wait – play the embed below.
The grocer automation service thrived during covid lockdowns. Today, the company has cemented itself in individuals’ shopping behaviors.
Godspeed’s dear friend, Steve Strazza privately shared,
I’m a huge fan. I haven’t been to a grocery store since Nam. Literally.
For reference – Steve and I traveled to Asia with Sean McLaughlin, Joel Pannikot and JeanCarlo Mendez shooting Wall Street to All Streets in 2023.
The Street appears to applaud Instacart’s Super Bowl debut – or more likely – the autonomous mobility theme remains intact. Friday, $CART closed at an all-time high. (See the daily chart below.)

🇨🇳 Is China Leading Autonomous Mobility?
It appears China lead autonomous mobility…

BYD is the world’s largest EV company – think “Tesla of China.”
The company teased an event next week to showcase its self-driving strategy. The stock gained +20% and closed at an all-time high. (See the monthly chart below.)

BYD is scheduled to unveil its strategy 6:30 AM EST Monday.

Ehang is the leading eVTOL manufacturer in China. Its EH216-S was the world’s first passenger-carry autonomous aircraft to take flight. We covered EHang in the Godspeed’ launch post. Read it here.

Will China lead autonomous mobility? Time will tell…
🌄 Advanced Air Mobility Enters The Rockies
Beta Technologies’ partnered with the state of Utah and its aerospace and defense association to introduce advanced air mobility (AAM). Beta will install its aircraft charging stations and work with the state to identify priority routes for electric aircraft.
The partnership seeks to build a strong foundation to support mobility innovation ahead of the 2034 Winter Olympics in SLC.
Utah governor Spencer Cox commented,
Utah is at the epicenter for cutting-edge innovations in the commercial aviation industry that will play a critical role in Utah’s economic future. Utah is not just embracing the future of transportation—we are leading it.
Something’s afoot in the Rockies… Learn more about the partnership here.
And in case you missed it – last week we shared Pelion’s (a Utah-based VC) $500M fund raise.
🫡 Honeywell Intends to Separate Automation and Aerospace
Honeywell plans to separate into three independent, publicly traded companies focusing on Automation, Aerospace and Advanced Materials.
The industrial conglomerate expects the transaction to be complete by the second half of 2026.
Vimal Kapur, Chairman and CEO of Honeywell commented,
Building on decades of innovation as its heritage, Honeywell Automation will create the buildings and industrial infrastructure of the future, leveraging process technology, software, and AI-enabled, autonomous solutions to drive the next generation of productivity, sustainability and safety for our customers…
As Aerospace prepares for unprecedented demand in the years ahead across both commercial and defense markets, now is the right time for the business to begin its own journey as a standalone, public company.
Honeywell’s split comes after a similar separation by General Electric.
