Elon Earns A Key To The White House And A Black Eye…
Elon had an interesting week. He was very busy.
His EV maker is anticipated to roll out robotaxis in Austin on June 12th.
SpaceX launched its 9th Starship test flight, requiring an FAA investigation. The rocket company also announced it will launch its largest Starship in 2025 AND says a trip to Mars in 2026 may be in the cards.
Friday, Trump gifted Elon a key to the White House as he kinda-sorta departs from DOGE. Maybe I’m too young, but can you remember a time someone with a shiner received a key in the Oval Office? Somewhat strange, no?
$TSLA tumbled during Friday’s press conference. Perhaps the black eye intimidated investors? Time will tell.
Here’s the 15 min chart.
And monthly for good measure… When in doubt – zoom out.
Roblox’s Success Creates A Digital Black Market
Roblox’s Grow a Garden surpassed 11M concurrent players, creating a fascinating digital fruit economy.
The game’s viral success unleashed a black market for the in-game digital assets. Trading these assets currently violates Roblox’s terms of service. But players don’t seem to care.
Rouge Roblox traders trade because assets are scarce, display status and may rise in value.
The company has yet to address the illicit trading activity, but imagine if it leaned into the organic demand for trading digital assets?
Let’s say $RBLX leveraged crypto to build a digital trading post allowing users to exchange fiat for in-game assets amongst themselves… It’s a win – win – win.
The buyer wins by fulfilling their digital desire. The seller wins by earning REAL money. And the house always wins via transaction fees.
Roblox, give the people what they want!
The Private Space Race Is Heating Up
Firefly Aerospace announced it received a $50M investment from Northrop Grumman to develop Eclipse, its medium-lift rocket designed to carry 16,300 kg to low Earth orbit.
Eclipse will serve commercial, government, and national security clients. Its launch window opens in 2026, aiming to satisfy the excess demand for satellite deployment and space logistics.
Folks, we’ve entered a new private space race.
NuScale Power Secures Regulatory Approval
NuScale Power secured U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission approval for its 250 MWt (77 MWe) small modular reactor (SMR) design, upgrading its original 50 MWe model.
The SMRs may be deployed in configurations of up to six modules, collectively generating 462 MWe. Enough energy to power a mid-size city (Minneapolis // Miami), a large university campus or a military base.
The company expects to operate its first SMR by the end of the decade.
James Dyson, We Salute You
Dyson is one of the few design firms that continues to shock and awe with its hardware. Its founder, James Dyson, is truly an artist, and household goods are his preferred medium.
This week, the appliance company unveiled the world’s slimmest vacuum.
Dyson’s PencilVac boasts a 38mm diameter and is powered by a 140,000 RPM Hyperdymium motor. For context, the motor is nearly 10x faster than a Formula 1 engine and faster than jet turbines on a commercial aircraft. The “Fluffycones” even automatically detangle hair!
I imagine Rosie approves…
The PencilVac is currently available in Japan and is scheduled to hit the US in 2026.

Introducing Perplexity Labs
Perplexity launched Labs to turn ideas into reality. The new LLM behaves more like an autonomous analyst than a supercomputer collaborator.
The company writes,
Labs can craft everything from reports and spreadsheets to dashboards and simple web apps — all backed by extensive research and analysis. Often performing 10 minutes or more of self-supervised work, Perplexity Labs use a suite of tools like deep web browsing, code execution, and chart and image creation to turn your ideas and to-do’s into work that’s been done.
With the release, Perplexity Pro subscribers may build momentum trading dashboards, storyboard film concepts, or auto-generate sales prospect lists — with a single prompt.
AI is accelerating at Godspeed. Read Perplexity’s official post here.
