Welcome

Good morning – happy Saturday folks. Welcome to The Godspeed Weekly.
Let’s dive in…
Palantir Is the Supreme of Tech

In case you missed it – Supreme was the hottest thing in the late-2010s. The spicy streetwear brand built its name on high-profile collabs.
Today – Alex Karp and Palantir’s partnerships are guaranteed to turn heads. Before its AIPCon 6 AI event, the company announced 4 collabs cementing itself within American Infrastructure:
-
Palantir x Databricks will combine Palantir’s Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP) and Databricks’ Data Intelligence Platform to accelerate the production of AI applications and reduce total cost of ownership.
-
Palantir x Saronic Technologies will accelerate America’s autonomous naval capabilities.
-
Palantir x Archer will lay the AI foundation for next-gen aviation technologies.
-
Palantir x Saildrone will advance AI-driven maritime intelligence, transforming ocean surveillance for climate, commerce, and security.
These deals mark more than 10 commercial partnerships in the last two weeks. Alex Karp is a hype beast.

Blade Boasts Profitability

Blade Air Mobility was early to offer air taxi services, launching in May 2014.
Despite its first mover advantage, the company has failed to impress Wall Street as the stock is down 75% from its 2021 SPAC listing price.

Perhaps things are starting to change…
On Thursday, Blade reported Q4 earnings and delivered its first full-year of adjusted EBITDA profitability. The air taxi company experienced Q4 revenue growth of 14.5% YoY. Excluding Canada (Blade exited Canada 8/2024), revenue grew 22.1% YoY.
Prior to its earnings report, the company announced a partnership with Skyports Infrastructure to offer flights between Manhattan and JFK Airport.
Blade is aware of the profound innovation within aviation and has positioned itself to seamlessly transition to electric vertical aircraft (EVA or eVTOL).

Did You Miss The Lunar Eclipse?

ICYMI – we witnessed a total lunar eclipse for the first time since 2022. This phenomenon occurs when Earth aligns directly between the Sun and the Moon, casting a reddish shadow on the lunar surface.
NASA shared,
We’ve looked at an eclipse from both sides now…
While @NASAglenn was looking up to see last night’s Blood Moon, @Firefly_Space‘s Blue Ghost lunar lander was looking back at the “diamond ring” of a solar eclipse. A reminder that what you see often depends on your point of view.— NASA (@NASA)

The next total lunar eclipse is expected in March 2026.
