FOR THOSE JUST JOINING US, HERE’S AN OVERVIEW
Stocks faded the morning gap. Every major index finished negative. The Russell 2000 and Nasdaq Composite lost more than -1%.
Consumer discretionary, technology, basic materials and healthcare cratered more than -1%. Utilities, energy, financials and consumer staples settled higher.
New 52-Week Highs led New Lows — 51 vs. 48.
THE BEST OF THE BEST
Reynolds Consumer Products ($REYN) is the Best of the Best. The household products producer gapped +7% following its Q2 earnings report.
$REYN closed at its highest price since December 2022.

Airbnb ($ABNB) is the Worst of the Worst. The short-term rental marketplace fell -13.38% following its Q2 earnings report.
$ABNB secured its second-worst trading day since its IPO and closed at its lowest price since June 2023.
