Archer's MONSTER Week

Happy Friday folks,

This week was a monster week for Archer Aviation! The stock is up approximately +50% as the world awaits eVOTLs and advanced air mobility. 

Archer’s Q1 Earnings Release

On Monday, $ACHR reported Q1 earnings. The release was more or less a nothing burger. The company touted its progress in the UAE, partnership with Palantir, and its $1B cash on hand. Dubai is still on watch as the Middle East will likely be the first market to welcome air taxis.

In its letter to shareholders, Archer’s founder and CEO, Adam Goldstein, shared,

Archer’s pushing the boundaries of what’s possible and reshaping the future of aviation for years to come. This quarter, the team made strong progress across our civil and defense efforts as we continue to deepen our strategic partner relationships and prepare for commercialization in the UAE later this year.

LA2028’s Exclusive Air Taxi Provider

On Thursday, Archer announced it was selected as the Official Air Taxi Provider of the LA2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The company will utilize its Midnight aircraft to transport VIPs, fans, and stakeholders while supporting emergency services and security. 

Archer founder and CEO Adam Goldstein appeared on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show to commemorate the exclusive deal. I highly recommend watching the 5-minute interview here.

Let The Charts Speak

In light of this week’s news, $ACHR soared to its highest price since its SPAC listing in 2021. I want to acknowledge the massive uptick in total dollar volume in the lower pane of the chart below.  

It’s too early to declare an eVTOL winner, but $ACHR relative to its fellow American eVTOL manufacturer $JOBY trades at an all-time high. 

Archer even surpassed Joby’s market cap for the first time! 

eVTOL investors want to own $ACHR if it maintains its relative strength to $JOBY.
