Technical Analysis
Timing Crypto Is A Bitch ⏲️

There’s a saying in crypto that trying to trade or swing Bitcoin is pointless compared to just hodling. Why? Because the number of days in a year that you might benefit from a big move is very few. 📆

Care to guess? 30 days? 45 days?

Nope. 10 days. That’s it.

Missing those days can devastate returns, as they often account for the majority of Bitcoin’s annual gains.

And it’s not just Bitcoin. some of the biggest movers in crypto over the past two weeks have recovered months and even years in a very, very short period of time:

  • XLM reclaimed 145 weeks of losses and stagnation in just 13 days.

  • ADA reversed 131 weeks of downward and sideways action in 10 days.

  • DOGE bounced back 41 months’ worth of price in a mere 31 days.

  • XRP took 19 weeks to recover over three years of decline and flat trading.

  • In a little over two weeks, Tezos climbed back to prices last seen eight months ago.

And if things keep popping the way they are in the altcoin market, there’s about to be a flood of other tickers reclaiming multiyear price levels soon. 🤯

🧨 Tyler Winklevoss Torches Gensler: Evil, Sociopathic, and Done

Tyler Winklevoss just went full thermonuclear on SEC Chair Gary Gensler in an X thread, calling him “evil” with “sociopathic ambition.” His gripe? Gensler torched the crypto industry, wiped out livelihoods, and pushed his political agenda at any cost—even if it meant blowing up his own party. Rumor has it Gensler might bail before Trump’s inauguration, but Winklevoss thinks anyone who works with him post-SEC deserves a boycott. X.

💡 Etherlink is Tezos’ Sleeper Hit, and It’s Gunning for Ethereum’s Crown

💰 Bernstein: Bitcoin at $200K? Sure, Why Not

Bernstein analysts think $200K Bitcoin by 2025 isn’t just plausible—it’s on brand for this cycle. They’re pointing to Trump stacking his cabinet with pro-BTC picks, chatter about a U.S. Bitcoin reserve, and institutional adoption hitting hyperdrive. With ETFs piling up, MicroStrategy backing up the truck, and miners hoarding, this bull run isn’t just for retail—it’s sovereigns and suits now. TheBlock.

🏦 Banks vs. Crypto: The Clock’s Ticking

Traditional banks are playing a losing game trying to keep crypto out, according to Sam Price from Crypto Lifer. He calls out the irony of banks booting Bitcoin-rich clients while the rest of the world wakes up to fiat’s flaws. Price doesn’t think banks will integrate crypto slowly—it’ll hit like a landslide when they finally give in. TheStreet.

This Trading Bot Copies Congress, and has Outperformed the Market

Quiver Quantitative has built a trading bot that mimics stock trading by U.S. politicians, bringing a data-driven approach to copying the trading of Nancy Pelosi, Tommy Tuberville, and other members of Congress.

Quiver’s strategy, called the Congress Buys Strategy, tracks the performance of stocks that have been recently purchased by members of U.S. Congress (or their family). The holdings are weighted based on the reported size of the purchases, with weekly rebalancing.

This strategy has been doing well, and the methodology has had annualized returns of over 37% since 2020, outperforming the market on both an absolute and risk-adjusted basis.
